Medieval Stone Bridge spanning the Garfinny river near Lispole.
This narrow stone bridge was built without the use of mortar and is one of the few medieval stone bridges still standing in Ireland. Spanning the Garfinny River it can be found on the old Dingle to Lispole road above the N86. The road now crosses Garfinny river using a new bridge but you can still access the medieval bridge and walk across.
Garfinny bridge has been declared a national monument of Ireland and has been restored recently by the Office of Public Works.
